Forgot to Tell You...

I forgot a few more things that Brayden is doing right now. He sings the "Clean up" song with me when we are all done eating. He can nod his head up and down now. He rocks his body back and forth when he is excited or you are doing an activity with him that he likes. He can drink from a straw. And today, he locked himself in the bathroom. It took Elise and I 10 minutes and many phone calls to get him out. He was having a great time getting into Mommies drawers. Wanna Dance?

Brayden Update!

We are officially walking on our own now. Check it out! Brayden would much rather walk than crawl. This just started today, Sept. 24th. The studies say 15 months is the average age to walk. We just made it! Brayden turns 16 months next Sat.

We are saying every word Mommy says. He says Blue, Oval and Star. We think they must be his favorite color and shapes. He puts his hands together and says "Men" at then end of all our prayers. It is so sweet!

He is really into saying "Hi" all the time. He says it when he sees any of the three of us around the house and when he wakes from naps. He even says it in his sleep.

Yesterday, Brayden started something new. He puts his fingers in his ears when he thinks it is too load. It is pretty funny!

Brayden is pretty much a one nap kid now days. It is hard for Mommy to get anything done with one nap, because she normally has to take a nap also (Brayden still wakes an average of 5 times a night). Rumor has it that night waking should stop when he is fully weaned.

Brayden seems to be going through another stage of separation anx. From Mommy. It is so hard when I have had freedom and he needs me all the time again, but every time is a little less than before.

Fun with Daddy!
