22 Months Today!!!

March 31st

We went to eat breakfast with the Easter bunny this morning. It is not the best picture. Maybe we will have to try again next weekend at the town Easter Egg Hunt. I don't think I can get him to smile with all the other children around trying to push their way in line.

We are two months away from being 2 years old. I can't believe it! Of course, if you ask Brayden how old he is he will tell you, "I 3 mons ol!" Auntie Jen asked him that last weekend and that is what he came up with. How knows where he came up with that, but it is sure cute.

He will tell you who he is if you ask. You can see it in the new video. If he sees a B he knows it stands for Brayden, an M is for Mommy and a D is for Daddy.

He is using "And...", "Um...", and "How about..." as his waiting and thinking words. The other night he did not want to go to bed after we gave him his pile of bedtime buddies, so he kept pointing around the room saying, "Um...Um....Um," until we finally said you have everyone and it's time to go to sleep.

Speaking of sleep, Brayden is sleeping all through the night now days. He goes down around 7-7:30 and doesn't start stirring until around 5:30-6. At that point he is very restless, but often goes back down until 7:20ish. It is great! After 2 years I am finally getting some much needed sleep. Every once in a while he wakes in the night, but I just give him a drink of water and he lays right back down on his own and goes to sleep. He is also putting himself to sleep at night and for nap time. I takes him about a half an hour to settle down and fall asleep (it takes an average person 20 min. anyway), but I am so happy he is not dependent on nursing any more. We will be completely done nursing in about a month. Now I can work on getting skinny again because I don't have to keep nutrition up for Brayden.

Bray is using the word "too" in sentences. The other day he wanted me to play music so he gave me an instrument and said, "Mommy play too!" I am noticing a lot of words like that to make his sentences more complete. He also loves to add peoples names to his sentences. Just so you know his comment is directed to you. Today on the phone he was asking Papa, "Papa, Papa, Papa, how are you Papa?"

He is pretty cool! Check out this video of him reading his fav. book Noni got him. He is saying, "Never put a frog in the doggies bowl, the doggies bowl, the doggeis bowl, Never put a frog in the doggies bowl or the doggies gonna yell!" Can you hear it!

Great Times in March

March 24

Every Monday morning I try to accomplish a 20 min. workout while Brayden plays with his toys in the living room. He gets very impatient with me. Through out my workout he probably brings me the remote and says, “All Done!” 10 times.

Last Friday when Ben came home from work I told Bray to tell Daddy, “ Happy Friday!” So he told him, “ Happy Birthday to You!”

Brayden loves to sing all his songs and recite all his favorite books by memory throughout each day. I am sure you saw how cute his singing is on the last set of video clips. I don’t know where he learned to use a mic and move like. He is a natural.

He loves climbing on everything, doing summersaults, playing with the new bubble machine from Lewis and Jen, playing Ring-A-Roung-the-Rosies, blackberries, twirling on the stools, buckling his belt on the car seat and strollers, playing hungry hippos, playing outside (we do that 4 times a day whether is be out back with out toys, running around out front, sweeping the deck, taking a stroller walk, or playing at the park), chewing gum, and playing “I AM SLEEPING” (You can see it on the new video).

These are Bradyen’s phrases he says, or explodes as Grampa puts it, all the time throughout a day (if you see a line it means he puts a name their for who he is asking or talking to):

Thanks you

Please

Turn round and round

How is your day ____?

Bright sunny day!

Really cool!

So cute!

What some please?

_____ Where are you?

That’s good

Watch Brayden (loves to watch movies of himself)

Wake up!

Again! Again!

Our week of fun!

We had such a wonderful time with Gramma, Grampa and Auntie "E". You can see all the fun in the pictures. We sure miss them now that they are gone, but are looking forward to Auntie Jen coming on Wed. next week.

Brayden is into puppets, his pee pee doll and his favorite story is the Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf. He loves to do anything outdoors.

Gamma pulled Brayden around in his lego wagon when she was babysitting him and now he wants to do it all the time.

"Happy Face!"

Check out the due. He woke up this way from his nap. I could not have gelled it up any better if I had done it myself.
It was a pretty cool look!

A day can't go by without playing at the park. The weather has just been outstanding.

Brayden can slide down the slide by himself now and tries to climb all over everything. I've got band-aids ready in my purse now days

He gets so duty and we seem to bring all the rocks home in our pants.

It was cool to see him venture in to the tunnel. That has been very hard for him. Other kids come rushing in and it scares him. I was so proud of him for taking a risk.

He loves the wiggly bridge!

He has started wanting to clime all the walls and bars.

He loved watching all the big kids go across this pully thing. He would yell at them, "Ready, Set, Go!"

He kept saying, "Cool park. So many kids. Wow!"

"Here kitty, kitty!" He loves to try to get close to the neighbors cat.

Brayden laying down to play.

We did some easter egg hunting.

Bray learned how to blow bubbles.

Okay everyone, get ready for a few more Bfamily pictures!
