Elephants on Parade!
Oct. 30 Brayden had two cute stories for the week:
While talking to Noni on the phone one day, Brayden did his normal pacing, talking and babbling all the way down the hallway. All of a sudden he started saying “Book! Book!” I followed him down to the bedroom where he pulled out a book, sat in the chair and kept telling Noni, “Book!” It was so cute. He wanted her to read a book to him. She is pretty good at that you know. He also kisses the phone every time he hears Noni or Auntie Jen’ s voices. It is pretty sweet!
One night as I was putting Brayden to bed he kept sitting up to say “DUCK!” I kept telling him ducky was sleeping and it was time for him to sleep also. Finally he gave in to his tiredness. Then morning came and what was the first thing he did? He said “Duck!” and went looking for his rubber ducky. He is persistent!!! It is cute how he is starting to love and take care of his animals right now. He loves his teddy, duck, Charlie Brown and Snoopy.
Brayden is starting to put more words together: “Come on,” and “Hey you!” are the latest. He is also saying “Here, Nice, Neat, Teddy, Ready, Boom” a lot this week and he mimic like crazy. I love it!
Brayden love any sort of Art. He love finger painting, coloring, window markers, and shaving cream fun!

Here is our music and library friend Ivy. She is a month older and talking away. She is the cutest thing ever. We go to play as her house tomorrow for the first time.
For library time last Wed. we went trick-or-treating at a church, the fire house (boy, those trucks were coo), and a book store.

The Low Down...
Here is the low down and funny stories about Brayden the last few weeks…. One day when Auntie Leesie (or as Brayden calls her “E”) came home from work, she and I were talking away. There were things to be done around the house, so Brayden went on his way. After a few moments Elise and I noticed that is was a little quiet so I went into the bedroom to see what the Little Bear was up to. I found him on the floor in the dark bedroom folding all the laundry. Like Mother like Son!
We went to the used store the other day to see what new things they had. I found a pair of more rugged looking shoes and decided to try them on Brayden. After a bit of debating Brayden and I put them back. I went to the counter to pay and left Brayden to walk around freely. Just a few moments later I heard Brayden making his “I want” noise and trying to put something on the counter. He had run all the way to the front of the store, past three racks of shoes and grabbed the pair shoes we had tried on. I could not believe it! There were so many shoes. He found just he right pair and the right size. Of course, the saleslady said I had to buy them after all that work.
Brayden and I have been working on labeling and finding things around the house. We were is in the family room and I was asking him to “Where is the floor?” and he would touch it. “Where is the chair?” and he would go to his Pooh chair he watches movies on. I asked him “Where is the pillow” thinking he would point out the pillows on the sofa, but instead he goes down the hall to show me the pillows on the bed. It is so funny to see what he knows and how he thinks.
I didn’t know if I should tell his one, but it is cute and so cool that Brayden is starting to put words together. Brayden likes to come with me when I go to the bathroom. He flushes the toilet for me(that way he will not be afraid when he is ready to use it). Well, I said I had to go potty, so Brayden fallowed me in and said, “Potty, Pee Pee, Ma Ma!” It was so neat!
Brayden walks and paces as he talks on the phone, just like his Daddy. He likes to say “Hi”, “Bye” and “Good” while he is talking.
He sings “EIEIO” when we sing Old McDonald and sings the “ALL” (“All” through the town when his bus sings The Wheels on the Bus. He also sings "Row, Row, Row" when we sing Row your Boat and sings "Head" for Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes.
He has started counting with Auntie Jen his weekend. She starts with the “One” and he takes over with “Two, Three, and Four.” I think she got him to ten in the end.
He has been saying “Blue” for a long time (he seems to be starting to even recognize it now), but just started saying “Green” and “Yellow.”
Brayden said “Park” and “Ready” today. He wanted to go the park while we were on the phone with Noni. We heard him saying "Park" so we got off the phone and Aunie Jen said "Are you ready?" He said "Ready! Park!"
He makes almost all animals noises and says a lot of animals names now.

After Bath Fun!
Bath Time!
Fruit!!!
Getting ready for Halloween!!!
Brayden worked at emptying the "pumpkin guts"(as Daddy says it) for about an hour. He had so much fun. At first he thought it was gross to touch and then he really got in to it. You can see how much fun he thought it was to see it oozing between Auntie Jen's fingers. Auntie Elise made the Jack-o-lanterns design. Isn't it neat? We have a light inside that changes colors. Brayden thinks it is "COOL!"
