Here are some great pictures to look at....
Isn't he getting so big!?!
Brayden made his first analogy July 23
rd, 2007 and has been doing it every day.
His first one was, “Wow, I’m falling like humpty dumpty!”
Some we have heard since are “I’m crawling like a baby,” and “ I’m eating like Chloe!”
Brayden likes to pat his friend Eva on the back and say “What a good Eva you are!” He says it to her dog, mommy, daddy, Noni, and little babies too. Brayden and Eva are so cute these days. They stroke each others arms lovingly, give hugs and sometimes try to lean in for a kiss. He is really doing well with all his friends. He is very social and wants to talk and play with them not just beside them.
Brayden walked up to man at the library the other day and said, “Hi there guy!” He went on to tell him all about reading books and how much he loves it. It was so cute. The man was very responsive. Then we went to the store and he saw two men from Africa. He flirted and talked with them a lot. The men were very tickled by the interaction.
Brayden walks backwards like a champ. He does is often and has been doing it for months now.
When Bray wears his superman PJ’s flies around and says he is ‘Super Map’ from his Dora cartoons.
He is obsessed with helicopters and watching the propellers turn. We need to find one that can just hover above him all day so he can watch it.
Silly words tickle Brayden when we say them. He really laughs at LOOPY and Snicker Doodle.
Brayden is starting to rhyme with me a bit. When we are hanging out and I start rhyming words he will copy me or even chime in with some of his own. Once again, something I could not even get kinders to do.
When you ask Brayden to show you his muscles he puts his arms straight up in the air and says, “I’m strong!” It is so cute.
He got his first arm painting at the fair. We were so proud of him for wanting to jump in and do it and he knew just what he wanted, “A Spider.” He was very happy with it all day.
He is really into imaginative play with his toys. He retells his favorite stories or makes his characters talk with each other. It is very cool. His favorite story to reenact is The Three Little Pigs.
Bray does not want Daddy to go to work these days. He says things like, “Could you not go to work this weekend,” “Daddy stay home,” “I go too,” and “You take your shoes off.”
Brayden has allowed us to put his sandals on without socks 4 times now. WOW!
We had another proud moment for Mommy. Brayden joined in for circle sing time after library today. He held other children’s hands and danced along in the circle. It is so great to see him becoming social and feeling like it is okay to be a part of the group. We did The Farmer in the Dell and one other circle game. He was even smiling some times. I’m really feeling like he might be ready for a preschool group to play with soon. He has been making friends at the park recently also and talking and copying what they do. We were out to eat the other night and he could not take his eyes off the little boy across from us. When the boy took a drink, Bray did. When the boy put his hand on his face, Bray did. He is really noticing others and wanting to interact with them.

Brayden loves to flip through
magazines...

My new bear backpack ("purse")
from great aunt Fran

Getting my first face painting at the fair this weekend. We were all so proud of him. You can see he was not sure at first, but by the end he gave her a high five and was very proud of it all day.

See my cool spider!?!

I love to brush my teeth...

Do we look alike or what!?! At least we know he will grow up to be good looking like his Auntie Jen.

Brayden loves to pretend to be Bob the Builder,
even as he is reading to go to bed.

That is all folks!
