2.5 weeks

At Brynn's 2 week checkup these were her stats:
Wt. 7 lbs. 14 oz.(She is gaining an oz. a day) 50%
Lth. 20 3/4 inches 80%
Head 40 cm 95%

She is very aware of things around her and appears to see 2 feet in front of her. She looks and follows the mobil over her swing. She has smiled from day one, but now it is more purposefully. She grunts, squeaks and whimpers all the time, even in her sleep. For the most part, she is quick to calm, a good eater and a good sleeper. We love her to pieces!

Brayden is starting to come back to life on earth. He has struggled a bit with the adjustment of having someone else to share the attention with. He appeared to be in an inward battle for a good week and a half. He was very quiet and wandered around the house. He would not let himself have any fun and was really into "NO!" Now he has moved on to a careless stage with his body and not wanting to answer questions presented to him. Sometimes I even wonder if he hears us. He is still in la-la land a bit, but we are seeing his imagination and happiness come back. He is also singing up a storm. He sings Jingle bells when we are out shopping and people think it is just great. Last night he told Daddy, "You're my best friend ever!" when he was putting him to bed. It was a real break through when he started telling us he loved us again.

Check out our great day!

Here is more of our cutie pie wrapped in her pretty pink blanket Gramma Sheri made...

She will sleep through anything!

Brayden always needs to be close to Mommy (check out those feet)!

She seems to like the sling okay. Maybe I will be able to get a few things done around the house on my own.

Brayden building a snowman.

What an adoring brother.

Mr. Super Clean!!!

Enjoying Mommy's old rocking chair and toys Gramma and Grandpa brought for him. He had the best day today and is really becoming more comfortable with having a sister and so much company around. We are starting to see the old playful, silly imaginative Brayden come back.

First smile caught on camera. She came out smiling right after birth and continues to break out in smile when she dreams.
