Baby news...

Our baby girl will be born between the 1st and 5th of Dec, although Mommy hopes it is a little sooner. She is well on her way. I look now at 21 weeks what I looked last pregnancy at 30 weeks. I am a lot lower this pregnancy. That has probably some to due with my ligament and uterus problems, too. We can't wait to meet you baby Brynn!!!

What we are up to...

Here are some funny things Brayden has been doing…

We went over to Chad and Tiff Rudows house for dinner the other night. They had some family over also and Brayden was getting acquainted with their Aunt Carol. She was giving him chips to make friends. Brayden had finished his chips and asked her for “More, please.” She said, “Would you like more?” and Brayden replied, “3 bags full!”

Brayden is always checking out wheel and how they work. One day he was sitting in his red car leaning over the see the wheels move as he moved his feet. He got out of the car and saying, “How does it work?” and preceded to lie on the floor to get a better look and said, “I figure it out!”

When we go to stores now I hear this a lot…”Can you buy it?” I have always told Brayden that we cannot open things until we go buy it, so now it is always, “Can you buy it!”

When Auntie Jen was here there was a huge rainstorm. We were out at the furniture shop checking on Brayden’s big boy bed and had to run out to the car when we were done. The rain was coming down so hard. I opened the door and tried to get Bray all buckled in quickly, but it was obviously not fast enough because I heard this shivering voice yell, “Shut the door, please!”

Brayden likes to shake his finger and say, “I’ll be right back!” when he leaves a room.

Brayden loves the TV show “Little Einstein’s.” He has so many saying from the show he uses in his vocabulary: “Look, look, look!” “I can not believe it!” “Blastoff!” and so many more. I will have to write them all down. He also likes Diego. Diego speaks Spanish. Brayden has been trying to tell us something a lot recently and we think it is in Spanish. It sounds like “Te Amos!” which would mean I LOVE YOU. Then, the other day we say a cat on the deck. When we pointed it out to Bray he pointed and yelled “Ayuda Me!” which means something like HELP ME. The animals that need rescuing say that all the time on the show. Pretty amazing if you ask me.

One morning when we woke up Brayden turned on the light and shook my hand and said, “Glad to meet you!” I have been wondering where he got that one ever since.

Brayden and all his smiles...

Brayden’s favorite things are driving cars and playing with trains…

The other day Ben picked Brayden up so he could take him in to the bath, but he did not want to take a bath so he wriggled out of Ben’s arms and said, “Whew, that was close!” He never wants to stop playing to take a bath or eat dinner.

Brayden is starting to really get the hang of language and how it works. He is changing pronouns correctly when answering questions. After a friends birthday party Noni asked Brayden, “Did you have a snack at the party?” Brayden replied, “Yes. I had a snack to eat at the party.” We were all amazed.

At the end of the day, Brayden likes to tell Daddy, “You’re so cute!” as he strokes his face or shirt.

Brayden likes to dance and “shake his booty” at the store with Auntie Jen. He keeps asking Auntie Jen, “Come on, Dance with me!”

If you ask Brayden who loves him he will say, “Everybody!”

Noni often says, “Lookey there!” at things she wants Bray to notice. Brayden used the phrase, “Lookey there!” all day the other day. He is really trying out new phrases he hears.

He also likes to clink cups and say, “Cheers!” (Thank for that one Auntie Jen!)

The other day on the phone Bray told Noni, “Noni, you’re the biggest!” He had so much love in his voice we think he meant that she was the best.

I offered Brayden crackers in the car the other day and Brayden said, “How ‘bout pizza?” I am getting that a lot recently. We don’t want one of the two things mommy offers. He thinks up, “How ‘bout pizza, French fries, or ice cream!”

Brayden cannot wear sandals without socks. He doesn’t even like to sleep without socks. The other night his went to bed in his new BIG BOY BED!!!! And, it was so hot I left his socks off. He we almost asleep, popped up and yelled, “I need my sockies!” After I got them on he settled in to sleep and said lovingly, “ I love sockies!” as he drifted off.

Brayden reads books to himself often. He brought me a book the other morning and sat down beside me with his book. He said, “You read this book, I read my book!” He recites nursery rhymes unprompted and sings songs all day long. He even sang along with Mommy and Daddy the other night to “Jesus wants me for a sunbeam!” It was beautiful!

You have got to come visit and see his “Happy dance!” It is pretty cool. Whenever he eat something he really likes he does the happy dance. He crunches up his arms and wiggles them kind of like the chicken dance, wobbles his head and runs in place with his feet. It is too cute.

Brayden likes to have only his diaper on and run through the house yelling, “Naked boy…running man!”

Check out all his many smiles...
