1 week old!

Brynn is a week old today. She is becoming more alert and aware with her eyes. Her fussy period has moving from the 9-1:30am time slot to the typical 5 o'clock time. She seems to really need time to work out those end of the day poopies. Gramma calls her a "fart blossom". She loves to chirp and squeak in her sleep and while nursing. She has a bit of trouble with gulping air as she nurses and requires a lot of burp time. Brynn is a great sleeper. She sleeps good 3-5 hour stretches through the night, waking only for a nursing and then she is right back down. She also sleeps soundly throughout the day. Brayden can be noisily playing and not disturb her. She even put herself to sleep at nap time today. I laid her in the crib awake while I read to Brayden and by the time we were done with three books Brynn was sound asleep. WOW! She is just the sweetest thing ever!

Brayden has started humming tunes while playing. He hummed Twinkle, Twinkle and Old MacDonald. He loves my old rocking chair, wooden train and trucks Mom and Dad brought.

Gramma is amazed at how Brayden recites nursery rhymes on his microphone.
