Sorry, he didn't want to smile.Check out Brayden's cool tool belt. It holds his go-tool cars. They are really cool. The cars run by cranking them up with little screwdriver and wrenches.

Brayden amazes us more every day. Just when I think there is no more to put on the blog, I have to start another list of things to tell. He is starting to have little conversations with us now instead of just parroting and a few words here and there. It is amazing to watch his brain work. At dinner the other night this was Mommy and Brayden's first real conversation:
B "More, More!"
D "Do you want more raisins?"
B(in a sad, pathetic voice) "Raisins all gone?"
D "There are more raisins. I'll get you some."
B "Thank you Mommy!"
Isn't that cool? He always says Thank you. He really likes to say it when he wants you to get rid of something for him. He will hand something over that he is done and say "Thank You!" It is so sweet.
The other story that amazed us what after Brayden had watched a 15 min. TV show called Jo Jo's Circus, I asked him if he liked the show. He said "Yes." We sat down to eat breakfast and I said, "What happened to Jo Jo today? Did she make something" He said, "A snow clown!" I could not believe I was able to really talk to him about the story line of his show. A few days later I told Daddy about it and before I got done with my story Brayden said "Snow clown!" He still remembered 2 days later what happen to Jo Jo. WOW!
At night when I ask Brayden to close his eyes he covers them with his hands.
Brayden does not like to eat with his sleeves up. He have to have them down and they get a little messy some times. He does not like to feel bare. He rubs his tummy when you take his shirt off and wants someone to put a clean shirt on quickly.
Brayden was playing the piano at our friend Rachel's house today. He LOVED it! He kept looking at her and smiling. He would play low notes and high notes and it almost sounded like very pretty cords. He even started to sing. I hope he gets the music bug. Ben and I already have said we want him to play guitar. Through out every day you can hear him singing the ABC's, EIEIO, or counting to a tune. I think it is in his blood.
Oh, at the store the other day Brayden was helping me push the cart. I saw a lady wanting to pass us so I told Brayden to be careful. He yelled in a big voice, "Watch out, coming through!" I was dieing of laughter. I remember saying that to him twice while playing cars at home. I was amazed he used it in the right context with this lady. It was too funny!
It has been a week and Brayden is still sleeping well. He sleeps a good 6-7 1/2 hour stretch and wakes once or twice in the early morning. I am so happy with his progress. If only Ben and I could get ourselves to sleep early, we could benefit from this. Brayden is even starting to got to bed more independently. I still nurse him to get his relaxed and then I lay him in bed stirring, and he puts himself to sleep. I can even leave the room at that point. Tonight he stirred, talked and bumped around the crib for min. and then put himself to sleep. I never thought we would see this day. I told you he was amazing!!!
