Here are some funny things Brayden has been doing…
We went over to Chad and Tiff Rudows house for dinner the other night. They had some family over also and Brayden was getting acquainted with their Aunt Carol. She was giving him chips to make friends. Brayden had finished his chips and asked her for “More, please.” She said, “Would you like more?” and Brayden replied, “3 bags full!”
Brayden is always checking out wheel and how they work. One day he was sitting in his red car leaning over the see the wheels move as he moved his feet. He got out of the car and saying, “How does it work?” and preceded to lie on the floor to get a better look and said, “I figure it out!”
When we go to stores now I hear this a lot…”Can you buy it?” I have always told Brayden that we cannot open things until we go buy it, so now it is always, “Can you buy it!”
When Auntie Jen was here there was a huge rainstorm. We were out at the furniture shop checking on Brayden’s big boy bed and had to run out to the car when we were done. The rain was coming down so hard. I opened the door and tried to get Bray all buckled in quickly, but it was obviously not fast enough because I heard this shivering voice yell, “Shut the door, please!”
Brayden likes to shake his finger and say, “I’ll be right back!” when he leaves a room.
Brayden loves the TV show “Little Einstein’s.” He has so many saying from the show he uses in his vocabulary: “Look, look, look!” “I can not believe it!” “Blastoff!” and so many more. I will have to write them all down. He also likes Diego. Diego speaks Spanish. Brayden has been trying to tell us something a lot recently and we think it is in Spanish. It sounds like “Te Amos!” which would mean I LOVE YOU. Then, the other day we say a cat on the deck. When we pointed it out to Bray he pointed and yelled “Ayuda Me!” which means something like HELP ME. The animals that need rescuing say that all the time on the show. Pretty amazing if you ask me.
One morning when we woke up Brayden turned on the light and shook my hand and said, “Glad to meet you!” I have been wondering where he got that one ever since.
